One of the most controversial provisions under SB 202 prohibits volunteers from giving out food, water, and chairs to people waiting to vote. Long lines were prevalent in early voting for the 2020 presidential election and 2020 primary. businessinsider.com/biden-georgia-…
The law restructures the State Elections Board to have more control over local election offices and states Georgia voters must provide ID in order to apply for an absentee ballot. It also shortens the window for voters to request absentee ballots.
