#Lamentations Chapter 5 sums up everything happening in NIGERIA. From banditry-kidnapping-herdsmen-landgrabbers-bad governance-Ineptitude etc.

Powerfully described in the scriptures, but, there is a solution at the end

Lamentations 5:1 MSG
"Remember, God, all we've been through. Study our plight, the black mark we've made in history. (THE NEEDLESS PLIGHT OF NIGERIANS BROUGHT ABOUT BY BAD GOVERNANCE IS UNPRECEDENTED)

Lamentations 5:2 Our precious land has been given to outsiders, our homes to strangers. (FOREIGN HERDSMEN FREELY & FORCEFULLY GIVEN OUR LAND

Lamentations 5:3 Orphans we are, not a father in sight, and our mothers no better than widows. (THE NARRATIVES OF SOME NIGERIANS WHO HAVE BEEN AT THE MERCY OF BANDITS, TERRORISTS & HERDSMEN)

Lamentations 5:4 We have to pay to drink our own water. Even our firewood comes at a price (IS THERE ANYONE NOT PAYING MORE FOR BASIC NEEDS, EVEN, INSPITE OF HEAVY TAXATIONS & CHARGES.)

Lamentations 5:5 We're nothing but slaves, bullied and bowed, worn out and without any rest. (ISN'T THIS WHAT MOST NIGERIANS HAVE BECOME? BRO-BEATEN TO SILENCE LIKE SLAVES.
Lamentations 5:6 We sold ourselves to Assyria & Egypt just to get something to eat. (ISN'T THIS ALSO TRUE?

Lamentations 5:7 Our parents sinned and are no more, and now we're paying for the wrongs they did. (ISN'T THIS ALSO TRUE?

Lamentations 5:8 Slaves rule over us; there's no escape from their grip.(YES, BEING GOVERNED BY PEOPLE WITH A SLAVE MENTALITY.

Lamentations 5:9 We risk our lives to gather food in the bandit-infested desert. (A PERFECT DESCRIPTION OF OUR HARD WORKING FARMERS.

Lamentations 5:10 Our skin has turned black as an oven, dried out like old leather from the famine. (HMMMMMMM)

Lamentations 5:11 Our wives were raped in the streets in Zion, and our virgins in the cities of Judah. (BOKOHARAM'S SOFT WEAPON OF WAR)

Lamentations 5:12 They hanged our princes by their hands, dishonored our elders. (WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE HAVE RULERS & NOT LEADERS IN POWER)

Lamentations 5:13 Strapping young men were put to women's work, mere boys forced to do men's work. (CASUAL LABOUR WAS LONG BANNED IN NIGERIA, YET, IT GOES ON UNABATED IN LEBANESE, INDIAN OWNED COMPANIES IN NIGERIA)

Lamentations 5:14 The city gate is empty of wise elders. Music from the young is heard no more. (WHERE ARE OUR WISE LEADERS? MAMY HAVE BEEN SILENCED WITH "BROWN ENVELOPES"....OUR ROYAL FATHER'S TOO ARE NOT EXEMPTED)

Lamentations 5:15 All the joy is gone from our hearts. Our dances have turned into dirges. (HMMMMMMM)

Lamentations 5:17 Because of all this we're heartsick; we can't see through the tears. (LORD, HELP US)

Lamentations 5:18 On Mount Zion, wrecked and ruined, jackals pace and prowl. (YOU NOW SEE WHAT WE HAVE TURNED THIS COUNTRY INTO?)

Lamentations 5:19 And yet, God, you're sovereign still, your throne intact and eternal. (HALLELUJAH)

Lamentations 5:20 So why do you keep forgetting us? Why dump us and leave us like this? (HAS HE REALLY, OR, WE ARE THE ONES WHO HAVE FORGOTTEN HIM?

Lamentations 5:21 Bring us back to you, God - we're ready to come back. Give us a fresh start.

YES LORD, WE ARE READY FORA DIVINE CHANGE. BRING US BACK. GIVE US A FRESH START in Jesus name. Amen
