This kind of anger is growing. I don't know who the writer is but it’s a thread worth spreading. By an irate articulate person. Not mine but with permission to share.

People might say that the pandemic is not political, but IT. IS. EFFIN’ POLITICAL. WHEN. GOVERNMENT. IS FAILING.
When the government can’t get it’s f**king act together amid the worst global crisis that this generation is facing.

IT IS POLITICAL when, a year into the pandemic, we still are not responding properly, we still aren’t able to test and treat enough, our contact tracing efforts
are all moro-moro and have pretty much failed; when the LGUs are all confused and the private sector is left to fend for itself and its millions of workers and employees.

IT IS POLITICAL when there is (and never has been) a clear, cohesive, and effective strategy to secure
public health while keeping our economy going.

IT IS POLITICAL when pretty much the whole world has faced the same crisis, yet many countries have been able to contain the virus and now move on to vaccinating millions, while cases are yet again surging in this country and
vaccination is a case of palakasan.

IT IS POLITICAL WHEN WE HAVE SOME OF THE MOST INCOMPETENT NATIONAL LEADERS AT POSSIBLY THE WORST TIME IN HISTORY.

NAKAKAGALIT.

And we have the right to be angry because it is WE, THE PEOPLE, who bear the brunt of this crisis. We are the ones
who are losing income, livelihood, mobility, loved ones, hope... while trying to keep the ship afloat on behalf of the companies and communities we care for, BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT CANT DO ITS JOB WELL.

Our frontliners needed donations; we donated.
Government needed technology
solutions quickly; many of us were also involved in donating time and investing sleepless nights, sweat, and tears to respond to the call of government.
Employees needed livelihood; we did everything we could to save jobs and entire organizations.
Communities, sectors needed
alternatives and donations; we helped where we could and donated some more.
Our small businesses needed support; we supported.
Physical distancing was needed; we distanced... and some families have not seen each other in a year, even foregoing the most basic gatherings for life
and death.
People need tests and vaccinations; the private sector is once again left to fend for itself.

LAHAT NA LANG BA IAASA SA “WE, THE PEOPLE”??

If that is the case, then, WE, THE PEOPLE, DESERVE BETTER.

Our families deserve better.
Our companies deserve better.
Our
communities deserve better.

OUR COUNTRY DESERVES BETTER.

WE DESERVE BETTER LEADERS WHO ARE WORTHY OF OUR
ASPIRATIONS FOR OURSELVES AND OUR FAMILIES.

We certainly do not deserve—and should no longer tolerate—this one.

😡😡😡

I’ve been told that in a poll (I forget now whose) majority of our people just don’t want to hear “negativity,” which is why the opposition and critical voices can’t gain traction. This toxic positivity is what politicians love to exploit with propaganda. It is the root of our
toxic “resilience.” It is also why as a people we are shallow and escapist, easily persuaded by optics,—I.e. dolomite, Boracay, even to some extent, the Skyway, etc. That also explains the shallowness of our entertainment, and our lack of critical thought. And why our education
needs to step up. So that we understand the importance of depth and expanse of thought.

DUTERTE, THE GREAT
by Tony Lopez, BizNews Asia
IN the history of polling in the Phils., I've never seen more incredible & more amazing survey results: As of Sept. this year, 91 of every 100 Filipinos approved of Pres. Duterte’s job performance; 91 of every 100
Filipinos have had trust in the chief executive.
Only 5 of every 100 do not approve of former Davao mayor’s job performance as president; only 3 of every 100 have no trust in him.
Since the latest Pulse Asia survey has a margin of error of 2.8 %age points & if you apply that
error margin to those who don't trust Duterte, then practically no one doesn't trust the President in the Phils.
No one, which is incredible.
Not even Jesus Christ during His time on earth could garner so colossally near-perfect approval & trust ratings.
In fact, in a

Here goes. @Joseph_Morong is actually right. Art for money is actually artfully done commerce, strictly speaking. This might not be a popular thing but hear me out. Artists primarily (note the qualifier) create art because they want to express some truth. TRUTH. so there's such a
thing as artistic truth. Artists use tools such as metaphor and color and technique to express this truth. Scientists also express themselves but their tools are induction and deduction and experimentation. Thus, scientific truth. Artists' and scientists' primary loyalty is to
TRUTH. But once this truth resonates, or is done in an artistic or scientific manner that enlarges the world view, it is often rewarded with material gain. many artists and scientists are recognized in their lifetimes. Many only after they are gone. Ergo: "before their time." Now

Para malinawan ang lahat sa kabalastugan nina Marcoleta, Remulla at Defensor:

Reposting:

From Nandy Villar, Integrated Marketing Head of ABS-CBN:

This is a slightly technical matter but I will explain it as simply as I can.

Many people have asked me how ABS-CBN is able to
continue broadcasting its channels on TV Plus. It is because these channels are airing through a frequency whose franchise has not expired, is not covered by the Ch2 cease and desist order, and is not owned by ABS-CBN. That is Channel 43, which is assigned to AMCARA Corp. It is
not owned and is not part of ABS-CBN.

ABS-CBN buys airtime from AMCARA in order to continue airing its TV Plus channels. It’s the same type of arrangement called “blocktime” between Eat Bulaga and GMA. Eat Bulaga is produced by TAPE, Inc and not GMA/Channel 7. TAPE is a “block

Learning from the Best Behest Loan and Financial Magic Coach. A thread

>>>>>>20 LOCAL AND FOREIGN BANKS HAVE QUENCHED BILLIONAIRE DENNIS UY'S THIRST FOR TAKEOVERS AND MERGERS IN THE FIRST 2 YEARS OF HIS PATRON, DIGONG DUTERTE.

The Davao-based businessman has already tripled his
borrowings to P85 billion as of 2017 but has shown little sign of slowing down his torrid pace of acquisitions as he continued to gobble up more targets this year:
From the FamilyMart convenience store to wildcat firm PXP Energy Corp. to the local Ferrari distributor Autostrada.
Based on his filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Uy’s single biggest loan is for P34 billion from Banco De Oro (BDO), Philippine National Bank (PNB), and Bank of China – Grand Cayman Branch (BOC-GC).

Uy used the 10-year loan, with an interest rate of between

THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT DOCUMENT PREPARED BY ACADEMICIANS AND PROFESSORS ON AMENDING THE CONSTITUTION,. IT IS ONLY A 3-5 MIN READ. IT JUST LOOKS LONG BECAUSE OF THE LIST OF NAMES OF THOSE WHO HAVE PENNED THIS.

PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO GET INVOLVED. OUR NATION'S FUTURE
IS AT STAKE, AFFECTING NOT ONLY OUR PRESENT GENERATIONS BUT ALSO THE NEXT, AND THE NEXT, AND THE NEXT, AND THE NEXT..........

We, the undersigned academics and professionals, are expressing our deep concern as regards the process of reviewing and possibly amending our
Constitution.

We acknowledge the importance of discussing ways to improve governance in the country, particularly when it comes to a possible shift to a new, federal form of government. Some of us actually support federalism, while others oppose it. We have nevertheless united
