@Timodc We're happy to provide reporters interviews, whether for positive or negative stories. Seth approached us in Dec. under a false pretense that he was writing a story about “how successful [we’ve] been” and we gave him a ~1 hour interview and even gave him access to our vendors. 1/

@Timodc Once again, whether the nature of the story was positive or negative, we are always happy to answer questions about MeidasTouch and are proud of the success of our efforts and the community we have developed. 2/

@Timodc He re-emerged at random times since with more questions, all of which we answered candidly and in detail. Last week, after a period of silence, he reached out with a 48-hour deadline saying he was going to print with a list of horrific, false accusations against us. 3/

@Timodc For a window into how crazy the accusations were, he accused us of ripping off donors on our canvassing efforts in Georgia because we spent $5/door, a small amt by all respects, but especially so considering we provided all canvassers a living wage and PPE (and advertised) 4/

@Timodc We asked to speak with his editors to clarify, who refused to chat with us and demanded our immediate, on the record response. We answered his accusations one-by-one and released those questions and answers to the public for transparency. 5/

@Timodc RS and Seth then had a lawyer send us a Cease and Desist because we posted our communications publicly – none of which were privileged or confidential. It’s baffling a news organization would try to silence us for being transparent. What are they afraid of? 6/

@Timodc Now, a week later the story still is not published despite saying it was going to print. He has now shifted to accusing the small businesses we work with of bad behavior, causing them a great deal of financial pain and threatening their livelihoods. 8/

@Timodc We have repeatedly asked Seth and RS for copies of our interview so we can share it unedited with the public, yet they refuse. And they continue to hurl loaded accusations – not questions – at our vendors, who have been nothing but great to us. 9/

@Timodc Many have now sent us and reported on the shady dealings of Rolling Stone, largely focused on the Saudi-funded 2019 takeover of the magazine by Jay Penske, a big GOP supporter who was in the White House in 2019 when Donald Trump awarded his father the Medal of Freedom. 10/

@Timodc They also brought to light issues regarding Rolling Stone’s workplace, including retaliatory actions taken after negotiating salaries, employees being fired after taking maternity leave, and Seth’s tweets mocking unions and a living wage. 11/

@Timodc These issues are of great concern to us, as they should be to anyone who believes in fair pay and believes that the Saudis should not have ownership of our media — especially after the murder of Jamal Khashoggi. These are not "insane online mobs", but concerned Americans. 12/12
