-Broom has the power to remove all forms of negative energy from a house.
-One should not stamp on the broom.
-Broom should not be kept in the kitchen, as it will bring an end to good fortune and prosperity.
-Sweeping of home should not be done after sunset. This will help Alakshmi not to enter the house and bring in poverty.
-Broom should not be kept in upright position. The belief is that unexpected death will take place in such homes.
-Sweeping should not be done, when a person has just left home on an important mission.
-You should never hit an animal with the broom.
-Cleaning a temple or sacred place continuously for 43 days will help in getting the blessing of Goddess Lakshmi.
The broom should always be kept hidden from visitors.
In some regions on Thursday people only sweep the floor but swanning is not done.
Taking new broom to a newly built house is considered to be very auspicious.
Donating 3 new brooms to a temple on a Friday is auspicious.

मैं आज आपको माता रानी की पूर्ण पूजा की सामग्री और विधि समझाने जा रही हूं।
सबसे पहले कलश की स्थापना की विधि
१. एक मिट्टी का कलश लें जिसमें 2 से 3 लीटर पानी आ सके।
२. कलश के मुख पर मौली से 3 बार फेर करके बांदे।
३. कलश के अंदर गंगाजल, पान का पत्ता, सुपारी ,लॉन्ग ,इलायची, फूल ,थोड़े से चावल, थोड़ी मिठाई और एक सिक्का डाल दें।
४. एक पानी से भरा नारियल लें जो कि बिल्कुल स्वच्छ लगता हो। इसमें 5 पान के पत्ते कलश के मुख पर रखें और नारियल सीधी तरफ रख दें।
५. अब एक मिट्टी का चौड़ा बर्तन लें और उसमें गीली मिट्टी भर दे। 200 ग्राम जों जो आपने एक रात पहले भिगो दी हो उसको एक कटोरी में अपने पास रखें।
