Realme's first, and it is well-optimized for sharp, vibrant shots.
Good and quick focus on small objects
Night mode is quick
Handheld 108MP images are fairly sharp
But....
As with Realme phones, colors are oversaturated and HDR too aggressive sometimes
Smaller aperture than Mi 10i (but same as Redmi Note 10 Pro) leads to lower light
ALSO, Realme is falsely advertising 3x optical zoom and many "reviewers" have fallen for it.
If you read the fine print, there is no 3x telephoto on the #Realme8Pro and it's only a feature wherein they claim 3x digital zoom is as good as optical and I call this BS.
Takes ~50 minutes to go from 10% to 100% irl as compared to Realme's claim of full battery in 47 mins. Still not bad.
The 4500mAh battery itself lasts well. This is with just web browsing and watching HDR videos on YouTube
Realme UI 2.0 is interesting, and I like the customization features but there's expected bloatware too.
Despite 8GB of RAM on #Realme8Pro, however, the UI has visible stuttering and I believe Realme UI 2.0 is the culprit here.
The next irksome bit is the display on #Realme8Pro. It's good they are using a 60Hz AMOLED but I would still prefer a 90Hz or 120Hz LCD over it if not a 120Hz AMOLED.
Even if the refresh rate doesn't bother you, here are some issues with #Realme8Pro's display
• the colors appear muted for an AMOLED
• No DCI-P3 support
• No DC Dimming (only a DC-like dimming)
More worryingly, the fingerprint scanner is slow and accurate only 3/4 times.
