Today I went on walk with my @OdinLahsa at a park adjacent to my house in South Delhi. A middle age man passing me stopped and showered some love on my dog. He then asked me about his breed and monthly expenditure. He went forward asking me name and caste.
I told him my name and resisted on caste. I asked him does it matter? He assumed my caste with my surname. He also asked my martial status and caste of my wife. I still resisted on caste identity and asked him do you believe in caste system?
He proudly said I am Thakur. I didn't react. He then asked me about any dispute during inter-caste marriage. I refused to explain to a stranger. His next statement was, "Agar hamare ghar mein aisa koi kare tho maar dalenge" I asked, "Agar aapke bacche" He said, "Maar dengey"
I asked him what is the problem if two adult decides to stay together and constitution permits. He said, "Khoon ka fark hota hai. Thakuron ka Moot (Urine) se bhi aag lag sakti hai" I laughed at him. Then he said, "Don't laugh Harijan-Chamar logon ke khoon mein wo baat nahi"
I decided to leave that place because he started talking rubbish. I told him that I am getting late. Then he asked my professional and home town. I told him about that. Then I asked him what you do? He said I am a watchmen in GK and get 11K salary. I felt pity on him.
He asked my number and requested me to help him to get some Job of 20K because he wasn't been paid during lockdown for 10 months. I told him Gas Bahut mehnga hai aap Thakur ho aur aapke moot se aag lag sakti hai tho uska business kyun karte?He gave me tough look and I walked away
People with so much hardship don't forget to talk rubbish over caste and wearing it over sleeves everyday. 8th Fail Thakur could talk this rubbish in front of Post Graduate Dalit and that power comes from caste supremacy.
