By the way, I cannot confirm that either of these stories are true but I am always down for a good Derrida story. I developed a complex relationship with his work in grad school that generally also involved a lot of drinking and crying
See also: Lacan, and I should feel the same way about Foucault but then I got, like, some weird Stockholm syndrome around his panopticon theory that caused me to cite him in all my papers instead

It took me a moment, but apparently Blackburn is presenting elder care and addressing climate change and transportation issues as bad things that are somehow not related to infrastructure. I’m beginning to think that a lot of politicians don’t know what “infrastructure” means
Remember? That whole QAnon actually being the Protocols of the Elders of Zion thing? Nazis? White supremacists and their disinformation campaigns? You think your friendly neighborhood debunkers do this shit because it's so relaxing and fun?
Global far-right power grabs? Remember how I've been talking about that? Now, what might rampant anti-Semitism have to do with global far-right power grabs and disinformation campaigns?? (I don't even know who I'm yelling at here, this story just made me want to yell lol)
"It’s not that America’s government is too big or small.... America’s level of social investment — that’s “government spending” in the false terms of the hard right — is the lowest of any modern society."
The article is way less depressing than the headline btw
Social investment translates to social resilience, which translates to national security, a concept that we really need to redefine away from militaristic jingoism and toward the well-being of the humans that make up societies. That's resilience, and that's how you fight disinfo
The group in question is "Patriot Prayer," who swarmed San Diego's Chicano Park in 2018 at the behest of local white supremacist Roger Ogden, who has been spending his time since then trying to get a Recall Newsom campaign going
Or rather, the group named in this article as part of a larger network. But they always say they're part of something bigger, because of course they have to. Anyway here's more about Ogden's activities sandiegoantifa.wordpress.com/2018/02/06/tru…
Unfortunately, Matt, you have spent so much time lying that I'm not sure that you have any credibility left. The burden of proof is on you now. Otherwise, this just sounds like more weaponized lies. This is how it's going to be for you from here on out, I'm afraid.
