Would like to remind all of you that 16” MacBook Pro, AirPods Pro, 2020 iPad Pro, and iPhone SE all dropped on WEDNESDAYS. Not Tuesdays.
If the 2021 iPad Pro were coming this week — it probably wouldn’t be today. (thread)
I’m not saying there won’t be a press release today, I’m just saying there aren’t enough signs for me to get hyped for it personally.
Also, if Kang is to be trusted, then iPad Pro has only been in production for about 2-3 weeks, which is shorter than the typical 4-6 weeks of prelaunch production that Apple usually does.
On top of that, Apple noted just last week that iOS 14.5 would be coming later this Spring. I don’t personally think that Apple would tell us when it’s coming if it was just a week away, and the iPad Pro would most likely ship with 14.5.
So with all that being said, don’t get your expectations too high. If it happens, it’ll happen, and you’ll all be pleasantly surprised.
I personally expect iPad Pro to launch on April 14th or maybe even 21st.

Still expect a press release on April 14th. As far as I’m aware, at least some of the models will be available, but don’t expect all models to be.
2021 11” iPad Pro, as far as I’m aware at the moment, is basically just a refresh. It’ll be backwards compatible with last years keyboards and such. It’ll have A14X, and that’s basically it.
