‘Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever gives two kinds (of things or property) in charity for Allah's Cause, will be called from the gates of Paradise and will be addressed, 'O slaves of Allah! Here is prosperity.'

So, whoever was amongst the people who used to offer their prayers, will be called from the gate of the prayer; and whoever was amongst the people who used to participate in Jihad, will be called from the gate of Jihad;

and whoever was amongst those who used to observe fasts, will be called from the gate of Ar-Raiyan; whoever was amongst those who used to give in charity, will be called from the gate of charity." Abu Bakr said, "Let my parents be sacrificed for you, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)!

This is so so good ... I had never known these profound distinctions between *Intelligence* and *Wisdom*
Worth reading on ...
1. Intelligence leads to arguments.
Wisdom leads to settlements.
2. Intelligence is power of will.
Wisdom is power OVER will.

3. Intelligence is heat, it burns.
Wisdom is warmth, it comforts.
4. Intelligence is pursuit of knowledge, it tires the seeker.
Wisdom is pursuit of truth, it inspires the seeker.
5. Intelligence is holding on.
Wisdom is letting go.
6. Intelligence leads you.
Wisdom guides you.

7. An intelligent man thinks he knows everything.
A wise man knows that there is still something to learn.
8. An intelligent man always tries to prove his point.
A wise man knows there really is no point.

An elderly woman got on a bus and sat down. At the next stop, a strong, grumpy young woman climbed up and sat down beside the old woman, hitting her with her numerous bags.

When she saw that the elderly woman remained silent, the young woman asked her why she had not complained when she hit her with her bags?

The elderly woman replied with a Smile: "There is no need to be rude or discuss something so insignificant, as my trip next to you is so short, because I am going to get off at the next stop."

Bilionea Femi Otedola alipoulizwa kwenye interview,, "Sir ni kitu gani unachokumbuka kilichokufanya uwe na furaha maishani?"

Femi alijibu:
"Nimepitia hatua nne za furaha katika maisha yangu na mwishowe nilielewa maana ya furaha ya kweli."

Hatua ya Kwanza ilikuwa ni kutafuta Mali na kulimbikiza. Lakini katika hatua hii sikupata furaha niliyoihitaji.

Nikaingia hatua ya pili ya kujinunulia vitu vya thamani. Lakini niligundua kuwa vitu vyote hivi vinakupa furaha ya muda tu ambayo haidumu.

Nikaingia hatua ya tatu ya kufanya miradi mikubwa. Ni katika hatua hii nilikuwa ninasambaza 95% ya diesel Nigeria yote na Africa Kwa ujumla. Pia nilikuwa mmiliki mkubwa wa vessel Africa na Asia. Lakini pia hapa sikupata furaha niliyokuwa nimeifikiria.

WISDOM OF FOOLS

You are a poultry farmer. You inject your broiler with enhancement drugs. Your daughter is in college and a major consumer of chicken and chips. Wisdom of a fool.

You are a parent. You buy exams for your child and lie to him he is the most intelligent kid in the world. He goes to university and does the wrong course. Either he drops out or he becomes a quack in that sector. He eventually gets a calamity. Wisdom of a fool.

You are a senior government official. You take a bribe. Contaminated sugar is allowed in the country. Your aging mother in the village gets cancer due to the contaminated sugar. Wisdom of a fool.
