7 Life Lessons My Father Taught Me

// THREAD //
1) Do not react, respond.

Much of our lives are spent in reaction to others words.

We react without giving it a second thought.

This mess up the whole situation and most of the times ruins the relationship.

So it's important to Be Mindful.
Pause and think before reacting.
2) Happiness is internal not external.

The person who can't seek happiness from the things he/she have, can't seek it even after getting everything.

So it's important to practice gratitude.

Be grateful for the things you have, be happy and keep faith for more better things.
3) Everything takes time.

It takes time,

• To become who you want to become.
• To become focused and disciplined.
• To find your purpose.
• To be at peace with yourself.

Everything goes through a process, so don't rush things.

Be patient and let time do it's work.
4) Read, write and Meditate.

Your mind is your greatest asset.

Its your duty to make your mind stronger, and shaper and to use it wisely.

📒 Read to expand the mind.
✍️ Write to clarify the mind.
🧘‍♂️ Meditate to heal the mind.
5) Always love yourself.

Love yourself the way you are and don't ever say "I'm too chubby, I'm too thin, I'm too short or I'm too skinny."

God has given you your own uniqueness and your own beauty.

So learn to appreciate yourself and your body instead of mocking it.
6) Don't do bad with others.

Karma is a real thing. It will always play it's part.

So it's important that we don't do or even think bad about others.

Don't focus on seeking revenge. Move off if someone say anything.

Take your revenge through your accomplishments.
7) Consistency beats unfocused talent.

Consistent efforts can beat unfocused talent anyday.

You need to put in the efforts daily if you want to see the results.

Just remember that:

"Success doesn't come from what you do occasionally. It comes from what you do consistently."
