Wish places would answer emails, so I don't have to waste weeks geeing myself up to call them, to get things to happen.
Weeks!!!!
Sure, getting over phone anxiety would be great, but it's been over twenty years of me feeling this exact way about calling people to ask for something.

And this is inaccessible.
Anyone else got a phone anxiety where they're fine calling people they know/for fun, but calling businesses/doctors/whatever is terrible, because you need to get it right and never quite manage to be concise?

I know this is a rhetorical question!

it's not ableist to criticise royalty, royal traditions, etc, discuss interbreeding (though there are ways to be ableist in those discussions!)
but the way that Habsburg portrait is being waved round, like a naughty novelty toy, is kind of making it hard to tell who's safe for disfigured people and who's not
it -is- ableist to joke about disfigured people and use them as a cudgel, even if they're long dead BAD PEOPLE & the disfigurement was caused by a bad system they benefited from

because they don't see you linking disfigurement to character, but living disfigured people do

Spider-Man 2 (2004) is kind of disappointing on rewatch, and Spider-Man (2002) is a better, more enjoyable film overall.
(except that MJ gets just barely better treatment in 2 than 1)
The "Well, at least we're not calling a teen girl a wh*re anymore" kind of 'better' treatment.
