On behalf of the "Stephen G. Waller Global Health Unsung Hero Award" Committee, I am pleased to announce a call for nominations for the 2021 award cycle. Most of you are aware of Dr. Waller's many contributions to global health, GHE & the Global Health DL program in particular1/4

but most are not aware of their depth & breadth & Dr. Waller's selfless lifelong service without pursuit of recognition. That relates to the "unsung hero" nature of this award. The award is intended to recognize those who have made major efforts and had unique or otherwise 2/4

influential effects on this field (global health), the U.S. government's part of it (GHE), or the USU Global Health DL program. Consistent w/ the "unsung hero" theme, this award is targeted toward those who have not already received major recognition for their efforts 3/5

& achievements. Please see attached citation.
