New photos found of grand mufti of Jerusalem Haj Amin al-Husseini visiting a concentration camp with Nazi officials. These photos are from the year after his meeting with Hitler. tabletmag.com/sections/news/…
"Al-Husseini’s written pact w the Nazis, & now the pictures of his visit to a concentration camp, & his subsequent close involvement with the Final Solution, show beyond any doubt that the Palestinian leader wanted the Jews of the ME to share the same fate as the Jews of Europe."
Correction, which many have pointed out in my mentions: The pictures are not new, they were found in 2017, but there are new revelations about the pictures in the article.
Just a heads up, if you’re going to QT this to insinuate that I or Israelis on the whole blame the Palestinians for the Holocaust, I’m going to block you. I don’t need your gaslighting.

I can't come up with any reasonable explanation for this article not mentioning that the very statement that is the subject of the article also says Israel is giving doses to the Palestinian Authority, other than that it must be intentional.
nytimes.com/2021/02/23/wor…
It's. right. there.
Also, this makes it sound like some kind of Israeli whim. It's IN the Oslo Accords!

I'm guessing the reason the government censored the names of the countries behind the worst ecological disaster in Israel's history - oil spill in the Mediterranean - is because one of them has a minister visiting today. Doesn't seem like a good reason.
And this comes after the censorship of the price Israel paid to save a young Israeli woman who crossed into Syria - which foreign sources say was $1.2 million to purchase Sputnik V vaccines for Syria.

The censor is supposed to be used sparingly for national security issues.
The government shouldn’t be using the censor so that our media doesn’t offend the sensibilities of dictators in countries without free speech.

A look at how Israel plans to present its position on Iran nuclear negotiations to the Biden administration, after talks with top Israeli officials:

jpost.com/middle-east/is…
* First, Israeli officials plan to discourage the US from lifting sanctions on Iran w\o serious concessions
* Israel is opposed to any return to the JCPOA - new deal must stop any uranium enrichment by Iran, no sunset clauses
*"Anytime, anywhere" inspections
* Contrary to what many are saying, Iran's missile programs and malign actions in the region are not at the top of Israel's list - they're bad, but Israel is focused on the existential nuclear issue

US freezes F-35 sale to UAE jpost.com/breaking-news/…
Former Trump administration official involved in the Abraham Accords tells me the freeze is "a vote of confidence in Iran and a vote of dismay to our allies who proactively made peace. It’s a slap in the face. Every bad message you could possibly send - this is it."

I take it back. I don't think it's *that* significant. There's this narrative that the UAE signed the Abraham Accords because of the F-35s, when in reality, it wasn't part of the negotiations, they'd been asking for the plans for 6 yrs & the sale was approved months later.
I'm sure if the Biden admin decides not to buy the planes, the UAE will be very disappointed, but peace with Israel didn't hinge on them. Unlike, say, Sudan getting off the State Sponsors of Terror list or Morocco getting recognition for Western Sahara.

Netanyahu speaking at Davos now about Israel's vaccine rollout, saying that he got personally involved in the negotiations and that he didn't think it would be a big deal for Israel to agree to pay a bit more, bc as int'l demand went up the price would go up further.
Netanyahu also said Israel can serve as "a world lab for herb immunity" because its efficient health services distribute vaccines quickly.
(Speaking via video conference. Davos conference is online this year.)
