THREAD: A doctor converts a car into a makeshift isolation room for a 66-year-old woman with COVID 19.

Dr. Amposta says she's been a doctor for six years: This is the first time I've treated someone inside a car
Dr. Amposta: I explained to the patient's son that it's a clinical COVID-19 case. We don't have available rooms and tents, so I offered to give treatment with that kind of setup — inside their vehicle.
Dr. Amposta: The patient had COVID-19 symptoms and oxygen level was very low
Dr. Amposta on the status of the patient: She will need a higher kind of oxygenation. The family had to defer because of financial constraints.
Dr. Amposta on treating a COVID-19 patient inside a car: I had to choose the lesser evil. A lot of people are left to die because wala silang mapuntahan.
