My son just told me he has COVID19. He's coughing, and not feeling well, but can still sleep.
I met him & his wife downtown last Sunday to give him an external hard drive & my power washer. I wore a mask, they didn't. I have 1 vax from 2nd March.
They had her niece over last weekend, and then went to her parents' place. Now all of them will have to get tested, including the niece's parents.
I warned him before about visiting family & how he'd feel if he passed it on.
I have to arrange a test for Sunday. My wife & I will now use different rooms & bathrooms 'til the test result comes back.
My son's garage will have to close.
I hope to hell he doesn't end up in hospital or, gods forbid, get intubated.
There are reasons why we haven't associated with anyone, including family, in the last year. They thought they could get away with it, that they'd never catch it.
It's not worth the goddamn risk.
