I’ve just finished an interview talking about a serial perpetrator who escalated to rape and murder. There were multiple victims that he targeted, all women, before he killed a young, female student. It’s a PATTERN #STALKING 1/4
I see this time and time again and yet nothing is done to identify these men earlier in their offending career. There’s no proactivity because it’s NOT A PRIORITY. I’m so angry and frustrated by the missed opportunities to keep women safe and the lack of commitment to change 2/4
this and put serial stalkers & domestic abusers on the same register that sex offenders and terrorists are on. It’s a huge cultural problem that we will only start to tackle through law change. I’ll post the interview when it airs. In the meantime, WRITE to your MP & ask that 3/4
they support #Amendment73#DABill which will ensure serial stalkers & domestic abusers are included on the register & a comprehensive perpetrator strategy. There must be a statutory, national & consistent approach - not a post code lottery where women pay with their lives 4/4
