One marijuana company keeps coming up in the recent Florida matters with Gaetz. It's called Trulieve. Here ya go: 1. DeSantis signed the first bill of his administration into law in March, 2019, lifting a ban on the sale of smokable medical marijuana by licensed dispensaries.
2. Trulieve became the first to legally offer smokable medical marijuana flower, selling the product at its dispensary in Tallahassee. It is owned by Halsey Beshears' family, the former DeSantis DBPR secretary who is apparently third republican involved in Gaetz sex
trafficking investigation.
3. Trulieve has high paid lobbyists in Washington DC and Tallahassee from Ballard Partners including Brian Ballard, Chris Dorworth (until yesterday) and Sylvester Lukis.
4. Dorworth is buddies with Beshears, Gaetz, Greenberg and Pirozzolo.
5. Dorwoth resigned yesterday after his named was tied to these folks.
6. In December, 2020, Trulieve gave $25,000 to DeSantis' political committee.
7. March 8, 2021, DeSantis elevated Trulieve's lobbyist Sylvester Lukis' son Adrian Lukis from Deputy Chief of Staff to Chief
of Staff.
8. On March 29, 2021 DeSantis announced he opposed caps on THC for medical cannabis.
9. BTW, Gaetz is a huge proponent of medical cannabis as is Greenberg and Pirozzolo.
Who knows maybe this is all a coincidence. In any event, Trulieve stock is killing it!!
Apparently when asked how Sylvester Lukis, who is the managing partner of Ballard Partners' firm in DC, could have his son serve as DeSantis' chief of staff, Ballard Partners said Sylvester doesn't lobby in Tallahassee. Hmmmm. Sounds kosher.
Trulieve apparently has over 50% market share of medical marijuana business in Florida
Maybe it's not a coincidence. Trulieve's CEO blocked me minutes after I posted this thread. Weird.

“Ms. Noble wrote that certain factors increased the chances that the case would land before Judge Cannon. Donald Middlebrooks, draws 50 percent of his criminal cases from the Miami division, she wrote, decreasing his odds. (Judge Middlebrooks this year ordered Mr. Trump and his
Trump attempted to obstruct the investigation by suggesting his attorney lie, directing Waltine Nauta to move boxes of documents, and providing only some of the documents requested by the grand jury.
- Trump did not obtain a waiver to access classified information, which would have required a determination that access was consistent with national security and that appropriate steps were taken to protect the information.
- Nauta found several of Trump's boxes fallen and their contents spilled on the floor. - Among the spilled contents was a document marked "SECRET//REL."
- The document was marked as releasable only to the Five Eyes intelligence alliance. - Nauta texted Trump Employee 2 about the
