he teaches jimin everything he knows, they spend every day in the practice rooms pouring over songs and of course, fall in love. it takes years, but eventually jimin masters it and continues to learn while tae plays less and less. but he gets to watch jimin thrive and grow.
gets to watch him play all the songs taehyung no longer can, and even more than that. he gets to close his eyes and listen and know that jimin is playing them just for him & that those skilled hands are both their pride. they do the things and fill the spaces tae's no longer can.
taehyung always still plays, even if he stops doing it professionally. he does his best at home for fun and jimin is always there to cheer him and massage his hands up when he gets frustrated that he can't recreate the melodies he used to be able to.
jimin watches taehyung keep trying his best, despite how hard it gets. he watches taehyung try to focus on jimin's hands rather than the pain in his own heart. & then finally, jimin takes matters into his own hands, yet again— he stops at nothing to get tae a job as a conductor!
