1. Student politics is never bad-the most important thing is to apply wisdom. My 13 years of leadership experience started from church (CAC) and then I became the Fin Direction of NAMS and then the President of the same student body in 2008
2. It's important to choose your battles wisely while 'safeguarding' your CGPA just like the popular NAFDAC slogan
3. It's never too early to start thinking about scholarships and how to be a competitive candidate from 100l.
4. Volunteer (NBTS, JCI, Red cross et al) and ensure you have a good rapport with your supervisor and lecturers.
5. Attend conferences and keep updating your CV.
6. You may have to create naija and diaspora copies of your CV since both are completely different.
7. Avoid motivational talks and gathering with the concept 'CGPA and education is a scam'. Na book dey wan sell. Ji ma sun!!
8. Do not be limited by the present situation in our system. Focus on your strength and think big. With determination and sincerity of purpose, you can achieve anything!!
9. All the best!
