BREAKING: The country tallies its biggest daily rise in recoveries with 55,204 more survivors, raising the total to 703,404.

It also reports 11,681 new infections, with the case tally reaching 864,868. Another 201 fatalities, meanwhile, bring the death toll to 14,945.
Active cases now stand at 146,519.

As of Saturday, at least 28 Chinese vessels are still spotted within the West Philippine Sea, AFP Chief Lt Gen Cirilito Sobejana tells DZBB, citing military reports.
