6 months since I had COVID-19 and it still continues to trouble. Am not a doc so no advices, just my experience & learnings:
If you haven't got it yet:
1. Avoid catching the virus. Wear mask, etc you know the drill.

2. Instead of kadha & random churans, eat very nutritious food according to your body's req. Have multivits if you need.
3. Workout. Do yoga, strength training, breathing exercises
I had switched to a healthy lifestyle just a few months before I caught the infection. Thanks to that, my body dealt with the virus very effortlessly, despite lot of worries by others since I have v bad bronchitis + had very high BP (hypertensive) regularly at that point.
Even when I had COVID-19, I continued doing stretching, yoga, Pranayam daily with doctor's advice.

If you get asymptomatic/mild symptoms COVID-19:
1. Rest a LOT. The lesser you rest, the more fatigued you'll feel once the infection is over.

2. Play brain games. Brain fogging after COVID-19 is very very real. I'd play on Luminosity, solve problems & from my old quant & logical reasoning books.
3. Eat nutritious food. I was asked to add an extra scoop of whey in my diet to ensure I have enough protein to avoid muscle loss (it's muscle loss that results in post COVID fatigue that lasts very very long).

4. Sleep as much as you can, as long as you feel. Ref point 1.
5. Drink tons of water. I've been drinking 4-5 Litres of water since I got COVID-19.
Also coconut water ❤️

6. Take all your meds properly under doctor's supervision. I was put off Azithromycin after first 4 days, only multivitamins after that.
7. Ask your doctor and do some stretching/Yoga. @yogawithadriene has some nice, very light yoga videos. Anything that doesn't exert your lungs during COVID is good, I was told.
8. You will have fatigue even months after recovering. Don't feel guilty, sleep when you feel like.

9. I got detected with Parosmia 6 months after recovering. Chocolate, jam, capsicum taste like absolute garbage to me now. A friend who also got COVID-19 can't eat cumin anymore.
10. Weird, new things will keep happening. Keep an eye on any changes you see in your body, consult your doctor without hesitation. All good chances the doc must have seen more cases like yours. My doc also told me of some patients whose eye sights have weakened after COVID-19.
And take sunlight if possible.

11. Last but not the least, please shower everyday. Keep your room clean, hygienic. Have a schedule.
12. Have a post-COVID recovery plan. Your body would have lost a lot of stamina, fatigue will pop up anytime, anywhere for a long long time. Re-build 💪

If #SachinVaze, Singh & Deshmukh nexus is shocking to you, here's something from #Gujarat that's going unnoticed in national conversation. Please read this:
▪️A Dalit activist #AmrabhaiBoricha was murdered in a village nr Bhavnagar by Kshatriyas, who had usurped Amrabhai's land
▪️The accused attacked him with swords, spears and rods, killing him infront of his 25 year old daughter & policemen.

▪️Before this attack, he was attacked 13 times by the same people, once breaking his legs. He had requested local police about the threats but was ignored.
▪️It has been 20 days since his death. The PSI who didn't file a single FIR when Amrabhai complained of the threats, is suspended but still free.
▪️ Independent MLA @jigneshmevani80 demanded his arrest in Gujarat Assembly twice, and he was suspended on both the days for this.

Thread: A personal episode from the past that I feel is very relevant to be shared today, especially for parents of young girls.

I was 18, when my first cousin morphed my face with that of a male school friend in extremely compromising position.
Very believable for anyone without knowledge of tech.

I was devastated. This was a brother I looked upto. This was the brother I had given my laptop to so he could apply for jobs. And on the same laptop, he made those photographs of me, his younger sister.
Why did he do that? He was kicked out of his house by his family after he married a girl w/o their consent. He was homeless, so my parents let him stay with us till my his family cools down & accepts them back. After 6 months, he felt threatened he'd be asked to leave our place.

People you're seeing in TV posing as locals of #SinghuBorder are NOT locals. Infact, locals are extremely warm with the protestors. This is what real locals have to say!
No one has a problem with protestors at #SinghuBorder. Who were the ones who came to protest??

Singhu border being vacated is FALSE NEWS. Everything's chill here, they're making arrangements for people from other sites who are being asked to vacate.

No one is vacating the Singhu Border protest site! Police is patrolling.

Protestors are determined to not leave, despite news of their Union Leaders being "set" by the government. Dinner preparations at langars have begun. Palwal protestors are moving to Singhu and Tikri after police & force was deployed, water was cut off.

#KisanAndolan
AajTak has been the prime spreader of fake news! The only "hulchul" happening here is preparation for dinner.

What are your views on the Kisaan Andolan after 4-5 incidents of aggression that happened today in #KisaanParade? Has your perception changed?

Sitting with some young people who've been protesting peacefully since 60 days, including today & feel disheartened how today's actions
by some people has taken a very well meaning movement behind by a thousand steps. Your response could help them understand the perception and re-think on their next steps.

You can inbox me or reply to this tweet. 🙏
Note: I still support the movement, but I am not in support of what happened today. I am equally disheartened because a fantastically curated movement has become synonymous to hooliganism today in common perception because of what a group did.
