Ciboney has released their results for Dec to Feb 2021

Between Dec to Feb, when we were busy pushing up they stock, they were busy paying money out, with no money coming in🤷‍♂️

They've spent J$1.9m over the last 3 months and made a loss of the same amount as they have no income
They now have $4.2m in cash 💰 vs $11.9m this time last year. So just think of it as their bank balance being depleted slowly

Over the last 9 months they have spent $4.3m on expenses without any income
They are spending on things like

• Registrar fees (to remain as a listed company) - over $1m per year
• Salaries - over $1m per year (cheap don't?)
• Utilities, paying board members, GCT, bank charges, Accountants & Auditors, Consultants, Printing and other office charges
With a Cash balance of only $4.2m and spending anywhere between $1 to $2 million per quarter...

...I'd say their days are numbered

JUST IN: Dolphin Cove has released their results for 2020 (yes, today Sun Apr 11)... and no surprise here... the pandemic has affected them badly

The pandemic has wiped out more than 70% of their sales😣

Imagine that... and you still have to feed the animals😟🧵
Their biggest earner - sales from hotels🏨, cruise ships🚢 and walk-in guests🚶‍♂️ - that's down 🔻72%

The other big contributor, sales from their restaurants👨‍🍳, gift shops🎁, photo shops📸 and other adventure tours🐎 is also down 🔻70%

Terrible
And they can't lay-off the animals 🐬 and all the staff.
They still have to feed & care for them

So imagine your business with sales 🔻70% but you still have costs

For 2020 they made a crazy US$1.1m loss compared to a U$1.6m profit in 2019

The vaccines could not come sooner

Interesting feature by @TheEconomist Today about a guy who used to donated his sperm😆 in the 80s for some extra cash while in college💰🤑

He said he used to get ~US$500 a week, and over about 4 to 5 years he made US$200k - US$300k

Talk about multiple streams of income
He's thinking he has at least 60 children out there🤔🤰

🇺🇸America's sperm industry is unregulated🤨 - who can donate, how often & how much they pay

Should this be an industry that should be regulated?

They explain some reasons why in the audio
Some countries have caps. For instance

• 🇬🇧Britain - 10 families max
• 🇪🇺Other EU countries have limits as well

🇺🇸US has excess of sperm donors why?
• Attractive compensation and
• You can be anonymous

Which makes them able to export... one of the biggest exporters🚀

Palace Amusement📽️🎬 finally released their Dec 2020 results & as expected... Its not good😟😫

Revenues🔻 87.6% for Q2

Meaning, in Dec 2019 for instance they made $255 million in sales from the Carib Cinema location alone (its largest)

In 2020, that fell to just $21m
That's an over 90% drop for their largest location, during Oct to Dec 2020!

Added to that they have had to borrow money, so now
• Finance costs have more than tripled

• And they are now reporting a Loss of -$82m. 4 and a half times the loss of -$18m made last year Dec 2019
• They will definitely need some cash to continue their operations. Company has a negative cash balance (despite getting over $125m in loans)

• On the bright side🥳🙌, they were able to bring in $9m in sales from the New Kingston Drive-In🚗🎞️🎬
