It was excellent to see more than 100 dial in to our #NetZeroEast launch event this morning.

Great presentations from @Laura_Sandys, @guynewey and @ed_birkett, and from the team at Net Zero East.

A full write-up, slides and recording will be uploaded to our website shortly.

We will now turn our focus to developing support for acceleration of decarbonisation across the East of England, including:

1) #NetZeroMap - an online interactive mapping platform covering infrastructure, generation, natural capital, socio-economics and more.

2) #ClimateActionPlanAssessment - a report outlining LA climate plans and emergencies declared to date, including available tools and next steps for East Anglian LAs.

3) #PowerParkEnergyHub - a project at the UK’s most easterly-point looking at renewables, hydrogen and energy storage integration for use across road transport, marine, shipping and heat.

4) #EgmereInnovation - a concept for innovation at Local Enterprise Zones creating possibilities for smart local energy systems, community tariffs, EV charging, retrofit, and much more.

5) #LatestNews - we will continue to populate our website and bring regular updates on local and international industry announcements, technology developments and the changing policy landscape.
