I write to you with urgency and demand you halt implementation of the BSL 4 facility (National Bio and Agro-defense Facility) in Manhattan, KS.

This is another Wuhan disaster in the making, as release of infectious agents (of which there is no cure) from the lab directly into our beef belt would devastate the United States, cause incurable deadly disease, financial ruin and starvation of the people in this country.

Covid-19 was released from a BSL 4 lab and devastated the world.

Placing a BSL 4 lab in the middle of the nation's food supply, where flooding and tornadoes are frequent, is negligent and criminal.

Thank you for your prompt attention and action on this national security matter.
