JM KARIUKI parliamentary ideas (1969-75 Hansard) show a vision for egalitarianism - warned of Kenya of "10 millionaires and 10 million beggers". 1968 he sponsored HIRE PURCHASE ACT that to-date helps many access goods to uplift lives. Enabling proPoor policies, ending graft key.

2007/8 PEV was mutating to class warfare esp in hotbeds. Today, many leafy neighbourhoods are isolating and many kids from these rich estates don't know of "others". Often TV comedies feature these differences firming the contemptuous demarcations. We have a very serious problem.

Solution to redress marginalisation is to end corruption. When thieves are protected by those with influential power, then creation & spread of criminal enterprises and mass grievances will grow, thrive. But to expect culprits to end vice is to be naive. Looting sadly now 'legit'

2020 exits. A year of global losses and distress. Of America Trumpism, of Kenya #BBI - both blindly amok, owners refusing their fault and flop. COVID funds thefts put Kenyan in new gluttony league. Yet thank God for HIS gifts & blessings amidst pains, trials and tribulations.

Those of us who initially supported #Handshake but turned against clearly deceptive #BBI were trolled, attacked. I was particularly accused, sadly, of being a Ruto agent or being bitter on ‘missing’ cabinet slot or being envious of another “rival” honcho. Lies. WE LET GOD JUDGE.

Truth is that I last talked to Ruto 2015 on aftermath of my stand #NYSHeist, though sustained efforts to reconcile lasted all yr2020. Contrarily, Fact: I’ve talked with Raila consistently to-date. He knows my honest, firm opposition on BBI faults. My published views UNAPOLOGETIC.

Raila, Kalonzo, Wetangula, Mudavadi: “riots” engulfed country 2016 as Cord peacefully protested for Electoral reforms. Our bipartisan parliamentary caucus met to conversed w/ each of you. We also talked to President Uhuru & Ruto. We successfully achieved dialogue, Select Comte.

All of you - except Ruto - received us so well, approved our effort. Ruto viciously protested initiative. They’re now eating him ravenously, as did you 2016/17/18. As a citizen privileged to know ‘101‘, asking you defend Ruto’s constitutional rights, Jubilee implosions aside.

1992 Moi regime blocked Matiba, Jaramogi and Kibaki not to enter Embu/Meru, North Eastern, Eldoret/Baringo respectively. 2002 system collapsed. 2007 we called each other MaDoaDoa & NyamuCiaRuguru. 2013/17 we branded rivals Muguruki/Kimundu, Mlevi/Wezi; manifestos NOT. Not again!

Renewed vitriol on Raila by Tangatanga MPs is cowardly. It’s vain, blatant attempt at revising history. 1992 & 1997 so-called land-crashes were politically sponsored by KANU against opposition supporters. Raila was forefront in opposition. FACT. Like many of us he was victim.

Kiliku, NCCK, Akiwumi & other reports revealed plotters +perpetrators. Local & foreign media published. YK92 In thick of it. 1997 Urais: Raila, Ngilu, Wamalwa lost. No violence Siaya, Kitui, Bungoma. Kibaki “lost”. Nyeri calm. 1992 Matiba rigged out but Murang’a calm. Villains?

2002 most peaceful multiparty poll. Uhuru conceded even as some allies resisted. Moi ensured smooth transition. 2013 smooth too as Raila conceded after @Kenyajudiciary petition flopped. W/ Kalonzo called on UhuRuto @StateHouseKenya, recognized UhuRuto presidency. No violence

We reluctantly but robustly supported UhuRuto deal
after political propagandists fabricated 07/08 PEV investigations. SOME victims were depicted villains. We JUSTIFIABLY sympathized, defended our own. That’s after quiet efforts by some of us to get Raila-Uhuru alliance failed.

2013-17, Ruto controlled both Houses of Parliament and Executive. Anyone wanting a FIX went to see Ruto. Even governors in trouble with Senate! He fixed all. We still don’t know why Uhuru let it happen. Everyone knows ‘Annex’ became ‘Extortion Palace’. Well-oiled Sky Team ruled.

Jubilee REBELLION against Uhuru was born 2013, escalated 2017. We shouldn’t blame Ruto; was doing his game - ruthlessly, generously, impatiently. Anyone disagreeing was isolated and viciously fought. But Uhuru didn’t care on alarms. We don’t hate Ruto. But he’s so INTOLERANT.
