Right before I started Strange Planet I tried to launch a series called Dolphlock Bones: Fishteries Mysteries. Dolphin solving mysteries with an assistant, Flotsam. It did not take off! Strange Planet was not my first try.

I try to share it as often as possible to break through the perception of “instant, overnight success.” That idea used to intimidate me so much as someone who works better with iterations!
creative journey for me has not been like climbing a mountain as much as walking along a long ridge looking for the right opening to be able to cross (but also it’s raining sometimes?)
to extend the metaphor, I have found that the point is not to be at a high place and stay there but to explore a lot of ground and find new ✨openings✨
