The Imo State Government under the shared prosperity government of Gov. Hope Uzodimma has again published a quarterly summary of salaries and pensions of Imo workers and pensioners from different #HopeNewAndElectronicMediaCenter
ministries,departments and agencies as well as local governments in the state.
This is in line with the requirement of States Fiscal Transparency and Sustainability(SFTAS) in ensuring that state governments publishes their quarterly summary of salary payments as the monthly
allocation comes in to the state which Imo State has become SFTAS compliant and eligible for the transparency grant in 2020 on assumption of office by Gov. Hope Uzodimma.
It is on record that Imo State has never been granted the transparency grant due to its inability to make open and publish the summary of salaries and pensions paid to Imo workers and pensioners not until Gov. Hope Uzodimma came on board and through his stand on accountability
and transparency birthed the payroll online website where members of the public can track the budget online as well as see the quarterly financial records/audit reports on schedule which made the state for the first time eligible for the grant in 2020.
Today, the Imo State Government for the first quarter of the year 2021 has published the amount paid as salaries and pensions to Imo workers and pensioners, Thus;
January- N2,891,458,910.49
February- N2,892,537,840.44
March- N2,973,098,732.49

Till date, lmo State Government under Gov. Hope Uzodimma has continued to be transparent in its dealings and engagements as a responsible government by the continuous publication of its activities and budget through the government website and we are sure that we are a perfect
example of what a transparent and accountable government should be and look like.

When we hear bad rumours about a Northerner, we don't ask or seek for authentic details of the unconfirmed story we heard or read, instead, we go ahead to believe it, tweet it, blog it and tag the UN,US, the ICC
But we go mute and cease to exist, when such happens in the South.
Taking the Extra-judicial killings that happened in Anambra for instance; everybody are back to their Businesses and work places, no one is asking about the development on the trial of the Officer involved in that sacrilegious act BECAUSE IT WAS AN OWN GOAL.
Since we decided to play politics mixed with tribalism and Prejudice, let's play!
What would have happened if Officer Nwafor was from the North? Would we have been as silent as we are now?

In 2014, we were urged to Campaign and align with the APC since PDP refused to give us a shot for 16 years, what did we do? We threw it all away and called on Nnamdi Kanu to come home and cause unrest and confusion in the Country,
