The legend of #Kedarnath and the rest Kedars

After the war of #Mahabharata,the Pandavas were cursed with Pitra dhroh, Guru dhroh, gotra dhroh. The only way out was Shiva (it is believed in all the yugas, once you get Shiva darshan, all your sins will be washed off instantly) n/1

Krishna himself was affected by these dhroh, but he couldnt step foot on the land of Shiva - Devbhoomi, so he requested Vasuki to carry him on his head
The Pandavas also set their journey to find Shiva
The legends of the 3 Pandavas is well known i.e.Yudhishtir, Arjun n Bheema n/2

Nakul Sehdev hd their own mantras n tantra to find Shiva.The1st calculation lead them to a path where Shiva ws meditating in the form of lotus(kamal). By d time they reached thr,Shiva escaped.A temple(Kamaleshwar)is build in d place where kamal ws present,in Srinagar,garhwal n/3

Their nxt calculation lead them to an animal where Shiva was meditating in the form of a cat(billi), bt again, by the time they reached there, Shiva escaped. At present, there's a town established called Billkedar. n/4

Next they calculated that Shiva has taken the form of a Nandi but when they reached there, they saw a herd of bulls grazing. Confused, how to specify, they thought of a plan. Since Bheema was a master in siddhis n can change his form, was asked to be a giant. n/5

Bheema was asked to put his 1leg on 1 peak of a mountain n 2nd on another, n the rest of the Pandavas will make the bulls run under him. All bull will pas but Shiva. After a while they saw a big bull not ready to move. They knew. Shiva was about to disappear again when Bheema n/6

Grabbed his tail. The bull was about to disappear inside the earth and a part came out in Nepal. That place is worshipped as Pashupati nath. Bheema ws determined to pull the bull when it changed into a ball of energy and got divided into 5 parts and scattered across the place n/7

The hump reappeared at Kedarnath, the arms appeared in Tungnath, the navel appeared in Madhyamaheshwar, the face showed up at Rudranath and the hair and head appearing in Kalpeshwar, thus called the Panch Kedars (now in Uttarakhand) n/8

Pandavas went there n meditated on Shiva but no use.The last place left was patal.They somehow managed to find the patal n Shiva. Impressed, Shiva asked for a boon.Since they already saw Shiva, all their sins were washed,but for a boon, they asked Shiva to play a game of dice n/9

They had a game of dice in Patal n lost there as well.Shiva then granted a boon to Yudishtra, n told him to follow a cave from Patal where he will reach the gates of heaven(on the way,Yudhishtir ws accompanied by a dog to the gates n when asked to leave him,he refused) n/10

The rest of the Pandavas(4 n draupadi) ws asked to follow another cave which will lead them to badrinath. From there, they will lead to mana village(last village of Indian border)n further,to the path of moksha
Draupadi ws d 1st to fall.a temple is build 4her near vasudhara n/11

The Pandavas continued their path and kept falling one by one, thus attaining moksha
