Gerrad, an Irish immigrant, w/@familiesfreedom at the #EyesonICE Forum, was illegally detained in an ICE detention center for time after his release when he asked officers if he'd be released before Christmas they told him, "Your case has been repealed. Merry f*cking Christmas."

Gerrad was reprimanded for giving another ICE detainee without money batteries for his radio. He experienced and witnessed abuses by white officers to him as well as other ICE detainees. When he filed complaints, there was no follow-up.

Jobayer w/ @DesisRisingUp at the #EyesonICE Forum, talking about his trek from Bangladesh through 12 countries until he reached the US/Mex border. He was detained in my hometown of #ElPaso, where he learned that the ICE detention center is profiting off of immigrants.
