#Crew2 post launch press conference starting on NASA TV.
Steve Jurczyk (NASA): 3 crew launches in 11 months! Hard to believe. Impt for regular cadence to and from ISS. #Crew2
Elon Musk (Sp-X): thrilled to be part of advancing human spaceflight, going to Moon and Mars, making humanity a multiplanet species. #Crew2
Kathy Lueders (NASA): exciting time for us on ISS, and also getting ready for Artemis 1. SLS core stage arriving soon, Orion being stacked. Announced HLS contract last week. #Crew2
Steve Stich (NASA): SpX and NASA ppl work so well together that now we finish each other sentences at these meetings. #Crew2 will make contact with ISS at 5:10 am ET [soft dock] tmrw with final docking [hard dock] at 5:23 am ET.
Joel Montelbano (NASA): looking forward to having 11 ppl on ISS, if only briefly. #Crew2
Hiroshi Sasaki (JAXA): congrats to all. Great to have two JAXA astronauts in space at same time, reflects close ties bt US and Japan on this prog. 1st time NASA/JAXA/ESA astronauts on long duration mission together. #Crew2
Frank de Winne (ESA): great day. Thomas Pesquet will be busy. On July 15 Russia will launch MLM module with ESA robotic arm. And looking fwd to working w/NASA on lunar Gateway and putting European astronauts on the Moon. #Crew2
Musk: I usually can't sleep night before launch. Hard to believe we're here doing this, seems like a dream.
#Crew2
Q-how will you do this for your non-NASA missions like #Inspiration4?
Musk: will still work with NASA. Human spflt is great, makes ppl excited about the future. #Crew2
Musk: great honor to be chosen by NASA to return to the Moon [re HLS contract award last week]. Been too long since we've been there. Then Mars. We don't want to be one of those single planet species, we want to be multiplanet. #Crew2
Q- will HLS $ help Starship?
Musk - yes. Starship funded mostly internally so far. Expensive. But need rapidly reusable rocket. #Crew2
Musk: Starship is hard. Support of NASA very much appreciated. But I think it's gonna work. #Crew2
Musk: I'm known for being optimistic about schedules, LOL, but I think Starship will be ready to launch people in a couple of years. We have to stop making craters. #Crew2
Musk: Yes, I agree with Bill Nelson that we can be on Moon by 2024. We're going to aim for sooner than that. 2024 is doable.
We're at dawn of new era of space exploration. #Crew2

That's it for briefing.
