I had two standard lectures that really cemented my reputation as a loose cannon: "The Cops Are Not Our Friends and Their Press Releases Cannot Be Blindly Trusted" and "For Fuck's Sake Why Isn't Anybody Paying Attention to the Goddamn California Nazis."
Welp
Oh yeah, and then there was my two-beer conspiracy theory, "White Supremacist-Riddled Border Agencies Will Be the Tip of the Fascist Spear in the Coming Attempts to Destroy Democracy." I drove everybody nuts with that one for years. I have no idea what I'm going to talk about now
By the way, all of these were very standard lectures/conspiracy theories for anybody covering the border. Impossible to watch what was unfolding there and not conclude that a power grab was on its way.

The border wall here in California (which, contrary to the disinformation, has existed for many years) is a complete environmental nightmare, because every environmental law on the books was waived to get that shit up there. It's literally a shit-show in some places
The enviromental destruction wrought by monuments to soft eugenics like the border wall is a longtime interest of mine, as you can see from one of my previous gigs kcet.org/people/brooke-…
"But a Times investigation found that recall campaign leaders, seeking to capitalize on the darkening public mood, allied with radical and extreme elements early on to help collect signatures.
@Facebook does not operate in good faith. They never have. They never will. They must be held accountable by us, the public.
And that is why we have to deal with these Nazi fucks on social platforms ourselves. Countertroll them, don't let them in your circles, mock them en masse, brigade them with mass reports. Coordinate reporting offensive content with all your friends. Make @Facebook listen to you.
Michigan's @GOP openly incited both 1/6 and the heavily armed statehouse "Operation Gridlock" occupations/temper tantrums that evolved into a militia plot to kidnap and assassinate the governor, so of course they're trying to gaslight the country
