Back tracing the origin of the flight, FR24 coverage only began as it left Myanmar, but that is not where it came from. Briefly, 2 hours ago, the flight was spotted on ADSBx over Thailand. This is also NOT where it originated from.
Also spotted this PLAAF VIP/Govt A319 heading SW toward Hainan Island from Foshan, which is a fighter base with Su-27s & J-11s.

Interesting. This explains the gap in coverage of the Dhaka B-737 flight. CCP Defence Minister Wei Fenghe visited, and agreed with, Vietnam on strengthening bi-lateral ties & defense cooperation.
