Post Covid ~

RTPCR positive history or past Covid is no contraindications to vaccines.

If active Covid infection ~ it is advised to defer vaccination for 4/8 wks after recovery...
One can have vaccines after 1 month of adequate recovery.

Alcohol and Smoking ~ 😆
Well both are Bad, very Bad. !!!
Must stop drinking and smoking now 🤓

But they are not any contraindications to vaccines...

Brain Injuries in trauma,
Cervical or Other Spine injuries
Old Trauma, any bone fractures or any other traumatic injuries to any body organs ~ No problems in having vaccines....

Any of them can have vaccines...

Any age group >18 yrs can take vaccine after May 1

No contraindications to any heart ailments like stents,previous MI or like disease...

PS ~ I am not a cardiologist,

Pregnancy and Lactating females are not included in Indian vaccination programs for Covid as of now ......

But various studies and analysis found it safe in European nations.

Absolutely no problems to take vaccines.
Neither it reduces fertility, nor libido....

Rather vaccine will be the second most important thing needed for sex, apart from intimacy !!! Post 1 May 😂

Allergies to any type of pharmaceutical products/drugs (sulpha drugs) are contraindicated in ICMR guidelines for vaccines of Covid ..

Receivers of convalescent plasma or monoclonal antibodies for Covid are temporarily contraindicated ...

Allergies to food items are contraindications in Covid vaccines.

Allergens to other agents are advised closed observation post vaccines in ICMR guidelines for vaccines....

No Religion
No Religious Ritual
No Religious Leader

Can prohibit you from vaccines !!!!

Patients on drugs like

Anti Epileptics
Anti arrhythmics
Anti diabetics
Anti Depressants
Anti Hypertensives

All can take their vaccines !!!

Chronic illnesses like ~

Cardiac
Renal
Metabolic
Neurological
Malignancies

Are not contraindications for Vaccines...!!!

The blood thinners are of two categories.

One is anti-platelets, which are aspirin and clopidogrel which have not a problem at all for taking covid-19 vaccine,

Other heparin/warfarin and LMWH have very relative contraindication and can be stopped for one or two days prior.

Which vaccine is better ??

Both Covishield and Covaxin have proven their efficacy in Indian populations and both are equally good !!!

If required, Covid 19 vaccines and any other vaccine should be separated by an interval of atleast 14 days .....
