The topic that I choose for my social media project and manifesto is on abortion rights. Many women have struggle with getting access to have abortions and that is because most clinics that provides abortions is either far away from the female patient.#Njcurj
who wants the procedure or certain insurances does not cover the full amount for abortions. I remember when I got my first abortion at the age of 16 and I did not know what it was or did any research on the pros and cons of an abortion. #Njcurj#abortionishealthcare
By time I gotten my second abortion I was able to understand more about the process of getting an abortion. This topic also reminds me of how a student from another university has come and talked to my fellow classmates and I during our reproductive justice class . #njcurj
about the abortion clinic she works at is incredibly open for women who are comfortable enough to get an abortion and the student also shares how some women would drive from far areas to go to the clinic. #njcurj
“ More than 25 million women of reproductive age across America are poised to lose access to abortion in their home states now that Brett Kavanaugh is positioned to become the fifth vote to overturn Roe v. Wade".#njcurj
"The research details the dangerous impact how rolling back these fundamental rights will disproportionately harm women of color, women with low incomes, and women in rural areas”.#njcurj
As a Black African American woman, I believe that everyone should have the access to birth control and abortions. Abortion should be apart of a woman healthcare because there are plenty of pregnancies that are unplanned #njcurj
which causes sometimes a woman the need to have an abortion. A lot of low-income women who cannot afford to pay for abortion usually have to go through the whole nine months and keeping the baby or giving the baby up for adoption or to a close family member. #njcurj
Abortion access has gotten worse during the pandemic since everyone has been ruled to stay inside. “The attacks and deceptions continue, but here is the truth: abortion is health care. Nearly a fourth of women in America will have an abortion by age 45. #njcurj
Every day, people across the United States make deeply personal decisions about their pregnancies. Those decisions deserve respect”. Women all over the world should get the access of having an abortion.#njcurj
but since there are states that are slowly but surely banning abortions it is getting hard. Birth control and abortion should be free access for women at any age, race, and class.#njcurj
Men are now also the reasons on why abortions in some states are slowly but surely coming to an end because some males believe that they should have a say so if a woman wants to keep a baby or not which is unfair. #njcurj
