On Thursday, the LAPD announced that 5 suspects have been arrested and charged in connection with the February kidnapping of Lady Gaga's dogs and shooting of her dog walker
Three of the suspects are facing attempted murder charges and the other two are charged with being an accessory to attempted murder. Gaga's dog walker, Ryan Fischer, was shot and badly wounded in the course of the dognapping.
The dogs were returned unharmed a couple of days following the incident after Gaga put up a $500,000 reward for their safe return.
Notably, the seemingly ‘good Samaritan’ who returned the dogs to an LAPD station, Jennifer McBride, is one of the individuals charged with being an accessory to attempted murder.
Authorities initially believed McBride was 'uninvolved and unassociated' with the perpetrators, but subsequently learned she allegedly had a relationship with the father of one of the other suspects. That father has also now been charged as an accessory to attempted murder.

‘You are all traitors. You and the naked king are implementing a plan to seize Russia, and the Russians should be turned into slaves,' Navalny reportedly said. 'Their wealth will be taken away from them; they will be deprived of any prospects; you have implemented that plan.’
In an interview with Time Magazine, Reese Witherspoon reflected on the dissimilar treatment women celebrities receive compared to one another, and the impact that can have on their careers and personal lives
In the interview, Witherspoon appears to acknowledge that certain stars, like herself and Jennifer Garner, have benefited from positive coverage for seemingly fulfilling 'good' archetypes.
Meanwhile, others who were seen as 'bad,' such as Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, or Britney Spears, received far more negative or sensationalist press.
'What if the media had decided I was something else?' Witherspoon is quoted as asking.
