Diplomats in the Horn of Africa would tell you that the desire of Eritrean youth to  immigrate to the west between 2009-2016 was the result of a well-coordinated scheme of TPLF’s human trafficking racket and their enablers. #CluelessPBS

At the time the TPLF (Tigray People's Liberation Front) was in power in Ethiopia and manipulating the west. It lured Eritrean youth by promising a quick resettlement in the US or Canada when in fact it was using them for its human trafficking and smuggling business. #CluelessPBS

In addition, defunct TPLF leaders stole Eritrean refugee identities and used them to resettle their own family members in western countries forcing Eritrean youth to make a dangerous journey into Europe by crossing the Sahara Desert and the Mediterranean Sea. #CluelessPBS

it is an open secret that more than three out of every five people resettled in the US & Canada, & over 40% of those resettled in Europe claiming to be Eritreans are in fact not Eritreans but Ethiopians from Tigray.That’s where real investigation should have focused. #CluelessPBS
