Hello, this must a long awaited thread but here it is! We don’t speculate there will be a correlation to any of the universes. We found ourselves looking into the poster like analyzing a work of art in a museum, a poster which depicts our current lifestyle and situation.
There’s no doubt that the 7 pictures are all representative of the members.
- camera: tae
- toast: hobi
- lollipop: jungkook
- jelly: jin
- party popper: namjoon
- yellow balloons: jimin
- drink: yoongi (this deduction was made through vsope’s latest vlive 😁)
But the real question is, what do they all mean? Why is everything on the ground except the balloons? Well let’s dive deeper!!
Firstly, the collage are all laid out but their connections are indicated by overlaps, if not then its the arrows! These connections could be interpreted in many ways, but it’s mostly to form a circle of actions, which eventually turns into a lifestyle or a daily routine.
There are two categories of items within the collage, the food (jelly, lollipop, drink, toast) and the entertainment (camera, balloons, party popper).
Now let’s start from the bottom. The circle and square here hint at their previous natural state of being, what was before a whole lollipop and a bucket of jellies fell down (arrow downwards).
Through this analysis, we can see that the marker sketch indicates an action as context to the entire collage. The party popper was popped, the drink will be filled, the toast made with love and the camera film has snapped memories.
Moreover, the tape made of primary colours reminded us of this Mondrian painting. The contrast of colours reminded us of the 2 themes in this collage, entertainment and food. How some pictures are in direct contrast with one another but still correlates in the big picture.
Therefore, this contrast on the surface forms an inner harmony behind the surface, a connection within all the pictures. However Mondrian called his painting “static”, which solidifies the message within this collage.
Like Richard Hamilton’s collage, the teaser poster finds their current space appealing. The pandemic has caused a repetitive or a “static” routine, but somehow the cycle is still meaningful and connects to something greater. Everything is worth something.

The quote which can be found in Persona MV is the most important quote for the journey to find the map of the soul. This is the summary of Seokjin’s objective in order to stop the time loop.
In here we can see multiple doors and the timeline Seokjin had been through, the memories and time he spent with the boys and the years he struggled to find the solution to end the time loop.
