Proud boys are providing security
There are about 150 people here, 50 of them proud boys flying the colors: some have fred Perry’s, some have tactical gear, some have proud boy bandannas covering their face.
There are no counter Demonstrators, proud boys are roaming the park, many of them armed, but there is no tension.
Proud Boys Oregon Vice President Flipp Todd says they hope to elect proud boys to local office.
A speaker brings some of the children onstage:

New: CHP isn’t supposed to aim less-lethal munitions at protesters’ heads and fire into crowds. It did at UCLA.

We found at least 25 instances in which officers appeared to aim their weapons at the eye-level of protesters or fired them into crowds.

Law enforcement officers across the state are trained that these types of munitions “shall not be aimed at the head, neck or any other vital organs,” according to guidelines from California Commission on Peace of Officers and Standards Training.

Happening now at UCLA: counter protestors are clashing with pro-Palestinian demonstrators, attempting to tear down the Gaza encampment.
Counter protestors are in a full on brawl with pro-Palestinian demonstrators at UClA.

Some counter protestors have been using sticks to try strike the hands of demonstrators holding the fence.

Both sides are using pepper spray in exchanges.

Protestors calling for a Ceasefire in Gaza have blocked the 110 southbound freeway in Los Angeles
About 50 protestors are staging an act of civil disobedience, shutting down the 110 freeway during rush hour in Los Angeles.

Half a dozen Highway patrol officers are at the scene now.
Protestors are holding the freeway, highway patrol officer are about 100 feet away watching for now.

There are about a dozen commuters who have gotten out of their cars and are arguing with protestors about blocking the freeway.

The story of the search and rescue of the Seven Oaks community in the mountains of the San Bernardino National Forest, cut off from the world during Tropical Storm Hilary.

It starts with Greg Fink, whose lived in Seven Oaks for over 40 years.

Greg & his wife fled during the storm, literally running to saftey.

Now he’s back and on a mission:

First: Get home to feed his cats, who haven’t eaten in 2 days.

Fast moving storm water destroyed everything in it’s path, Shredding trailer homes, trees, even taking the road with it.

At the Chino Valley School Board meeting the board is voting on a policy that would out trans students.

The policy would require teachers to notify parents within 72 hours if a student wishes to be identified by a pronoun other than the one “listed on their birth certificate” Image

The school board has already ejected a few attendees for “unruly behavior” (they cheered or shouted)

The crowd is a mix of parents, pride supporters, and anti-LGBTQ groups that are wearing the “leave our kids alone” t-shirts that were seen in the Glendale protests last month.
