@MitaliPerkins Long ago, my old car died on the highway at rush hour. Hooting, despair. Car pumping rap pulled in behind me, four large guys in leather leaped out. Pushed me all the way to a junction off the highway. I'm white. They were black. Which I mention becoz this was South Africa.1/
@MitaliPerkins There's more. The four heroes went back to retrieve their car. Another guy pulled over immediately, asked if I needed help, sat in his car and waited until the tow-truck arrived. Not done yet! 2/
@MitaliPerkins The tow-truck driver arrived with his teenage daughter. It was a weekend afternoon, and I wondered why she'd come. It was so I would feel comfortable on the long ride (hour's drive) back to my home. We all listened to the rugby on the radio. And that's a wrap!
