This whole MB meltdown has been interesting to watch mostly because of the insinuation of Joe's attraction and active pursuit of women in the present day is not a threat but any hint of attraction to a man that is not Cherry, even from high school days, is a giant transgression.

I get wanting to support the idea of "one true love" ship. I really do. But it's a little strange to me personally since Joe chases after women the entire show and to negate his thirsty gorilla side erases a big part of his (and bi) identity.

for me, this news about "Joe being attracted to Adam" in the romantic and/or charismatic sense doesn't negate "Joe and Cherry are meant to be and are an old married couple". It's a high school attraction. They're adults now? He clearly doesn't feel the same way as 7 years ago-

- and EVEN IF HE DOES, the unresolved nature of it does lend nicely into pining hurt/comfort for MB. And that is honestly a bunch of tropes I personally like to explore.

Just all in all, I don't think another dude crush ruins things when skirtchasing obviously didn't already.

Anyways, I wish MB nation a very good day and I hope in time an attraction from nearly a decade prior isn't seen as super threatening or upsetting.

To add: I'm also just ??? about how 'attraction' was automatically taken as romantic/sexual attraction by fans when it's easy to just take it to mean 'charmed by' which leaves the MB pairing alone. People just don't want friendships w/ ADAM to be real w/o tricks I guess...?

Since fans really like to paint Cherry as a dazzled victim of abuse/manipulation (I dislike this) but they cannot do the same with Joe with how they've already established his character. Sorry, the people you like sometimes like people you cannot stand and that's just how it is.
