Plight of a common man to avail Remidisivir Inj. Writing this thread with what myself n couple of my frnz went thro frm past 3 days. Some challenges faced by most of us -
1. Hosp tell d patients to arrange for inj though they are supposed to raise a req with drug control dept

2. An Indent is supposed to be issued by the Hospital, which they hesitate share with the patients and the toll free number of drug control dept. expects it. All we get to hear is, the req is raised.
3. Many a times, nos given by BBMP for remedisivir inj, are not really working at all. After connecting, they tk all details like SRFID and BU no. of a patient. All they say is u vl receive a cl soon.
4. Black market is in surge just like Covid cases where the lives are being compromised.
5. many hv arranged injections by paying large amt., just bec they can't compromise lives for money.

Govt. Has clearly said tht remedisivir shld not be sold in any pharmacy outlets. But still hospitals insist patient caretakers that the injections need to arranged. How can they really do it, when it's an offense to get it in black.
Many get it by paying large amt. How??? Black market is in surge and also a fear of fake medicine. Also, being a part of some volunteering groups, have seen so many PPL req for the inj. There is utter shortage of the medicine.
Actually, inj is directly supplied from drug control dept. to the respective patient once the hospital raises request. If 100 are requested they get 30-50, which is not sufficient for all. Where are we going wrong?? Whom to blame?
