Ahead of VP stop in Milwaukee today, State Reps. Jim Steineke and Tyler August say they visited the southern border last week and met with numerous law enforcement officials and land owners 
“As we said earlier, we appreciate the visit to Wisconsin; but, respectfully, you have much bigger problems to deal with right now,” the pair said in a letter to the VP released this morning
Reps Steineke and August have a news conference scheduled for later this morning, shortly before the VP is set to land in Milwaukee
