Journalistic masterpiece - object & thorough.
Agree with many sharing it that it is a must-read for understanding the origin.
Since this is a very long article, let me share some notes in case they save anyone's time. 1/x nicholaswade.medium.com/origin-of-covi…
If you have only one minute, these two paragraphs have the essence: 2/
This article essentially turns what the WHO believes to be the most unlikely - lab leak - to the most likely. 3/
It shows how compromised the research community is.
I have always been puzzled by the ubiquitous presence of Daszak defending the WIV. It is like asking a suspect's close friend to investigate the crime. 4/
The natural emergence hypothesis cannot explain a lot of things that happened in China. 5/x
Please remember this key phrase Gain-of-Function (GOF). In former CDC director Redfield's plain English, it means making the virus "grow better and better and better" (e.g., very infective like corona). The WIV was doing this with our tax money. 6/x
Shi, who subcontracted from Daszak, was busy creating highly infectious viruses. The CCP has issued orders to have the tightest control of any information regarding the virus from Chinese scientists. What are they trying to hide? 7/x
Spike protein from corona has killed over 3 million people by now.
Daszak was glowingly talked about the success of the WIV in reprogramming the spike protein.
This may sound like a conspiracy theory, but it is a verifiable fact! 8/x
The WIV was cooking very dangerous viruses that should be in a BSL4 lab. They have a questionable one, but most importantly, Shi's work is done mainly at BSL2 (i.e., US dentist office safety level).
Do you trust a US dentist playing highly infectious viruses in his office? 9/x
Three people from the WIV fell sick with Covid symptoms within a week. We do not know how many more considering how tight the CCP controls the access.
What is the odd for this to be unrelated to the viruses they were cooking? 10/x
If you just want to know a little bit more technical details about how corona gets into a cell with the help of its spike protein, then wreaks havoc in the cell and replicates itself, this succinct paragraph suffices. 11/x
Ons strong evidence is related to the furin cleavage site that is brilliant and critical for corona invasion. These two paragraphs tell us the odds for the site to be created by a lab are much higher than that of natural creation. 12/x
I am very familiar with NIH grants and I know subcontracting has little to do with NIH heads, so I was defending Fauci regarding the WIV subcontract though I am not his fan. No more after reading these two paragraphs. They have to answer some questions. 13/x
This article should be a go-to reference for corona origin until new significant evidence is found.
If only 10% of journos published articles as objective and thorough as this one, the world would be much better.

PCAOB Chair Erica Y. Williams should end any negotiation with PRC immediately. There is absolutely no sense to continue any dialog with these pathetic liars.
I have just read the PRC's interpretation of the agreement in Chinese. It is exactly the opposite of PCAOB's version. 1/4
PCAOB version:
"The PCAOB has sole discretion to select the firms, audit engagements and potential violations it inspects and investigates – without consultation with, nor input from, Chinese authorities.
The PCAOB has direct access to interview and take testimony...".
2/4
Chinese version:
"The US MUST obtain audit documents through the Chinese government regulatory agency, and interview and inquire audit firms WITH the participation of the Chinese gov agency.
The US side CANNOT act by itself to enter China to investigate audit firms..."

I know every detail of the PPP. Let me echo what many others are saying: comparing PPP loan forgiving to the student loan forgiving is absurd though I am disappointed by many of their explanations.
Allow me to do it briefly.
The PPP loan is effectively a grant.
1/4
I believe there is a sound reason for the misnomer. Essentially, if a business does what it says in its PPP application, the loan is guaranteed to be forgiven. In other words, the loan is bound to be forgiven BY DESIGN for any honest business.
2/4
The government has two options: 1. Set it as a grant and do expensive investigations of fraud afterward. 2. St it as a loan and automatically require businesses to simply submit proofs of what they promise on their applications for loan forgiving.

The Western delusion about the PRC regarding Putin’s invasion is almost unbearable. It is extremely baffling because the CCP is not hiding their views.
Many still lack the fundamental understanding of the CCP.
1/19
Allow me to share some basic understanding of the CCP relevant to Putin’s slaughter. I know the CCP’s mindset well because that is what grew up with thanks to intensive brainwashing. I also happened to be able to access CCP’s internal documents when I was a kid.
2/19
I will try to be brief by skipping rehashing the CCP’s history. The basic way of CCP’s operation has never changed since its inception. You see the same pattern in its entire history.
3/19
Wanted to share my thoughts about why the ROC (TW) is at its most vulnerable time by looking at the PRC, TW, the US, and the rest of the world. If you prefer, we can say TW’s security will improve in the coming years. This is not related to any specific current events.
1/14
First, the PRC’s strength is at its relative peak and will go downhill inevitably under the middle school dropout’s regression in every aspect. Both political and economic cracks are starting to show up.
2/14
Many are familiar with the economic cracks exemplified by the impending or ongoing Evergrande implosion.
As for the political crack, one can follow @realcaixia, a former CCP Central Party School professor, to learn the CCP’s long-brewing internal discontent with the MSD.

Today is the PLA’s birthday, so I need to do a thread to commemorate it.
As far as I know, the PLA’s unrivaled strength (at least in terms of scale and intensity) is its performing arts. A few examples to demonstrate it. 1. One can sing her way to the rank of general.
1/11
The MSD’s wife Peng is a major general as the top military perming artist and the head of the top military performing troupe.
The PLA used to have 7 military areas (like commands) and each had a song and dance troupe equivalent to a division, its head was a senior colonel.
2/11
The staff of these troupes are called art troops. Their voices and performing skills are important for promotion. Look and willing to bed with senior officers is said to be even more important.

Let’s take a look at the fate of all the 13 delegates of the CCP’s first congress (founding fathers) to get some sense of this mafia:
2 traitors serving the invading Japanese fascists, sentenced to death after WWII(Chen Gongbo, Zhou Fohai).
¼
3 quit CCP, joined KMT (CCP’s primary enemy) (Li Hanjun, Zhang Guotao, Bao Huiseng).
1 quit CCP, rejoined, then expelled (Li Da).
1 expelled (Liu Renjing)
1 was killed in a guerrilla war (He Shuheng).
2 were killed by warlords (Chen Tanqiu, Deng Enming)
2/4
1 died of illness (Wang Jinmei)
1 lived a relatively safe life (Dong Biwu)
1 eventually ruled the CCP and the country till his death (Mao)
