(Thread) The woke CIA is back with a whole set of new videos.

1.“Growing up gay in a small Southern town, I always struggled with the idea that I may not be able to discuss my personal life at work. Imagine my surprise when I noticed a rainbow on CIA Director Brennan’s lanyard.”

These are all real and taken from an unlisted CIA YT playlist I was sent.

“Ive been able to inspire not only women to pursue being on the Director’s protective staff but also people who wouldn’t normally consider themselves qualified to be an agent” says a POC mom of two boys.

“I want people with disabilities to know that the agency does hire,” says a blind employee, claiming the CIA’s top goal is to “create a more inclusive environment”.

“CIA values people from diverse backgrounds and diverse abilities.”

As an ally to people of colour, my CIA boss encouraged me, “and every day I feel more empowered to speak up.”

“We are all unique. And we’re here to provide that accountability and guidance to ensure this organization stays pristine.”

“It is important to have a diverse workforce within the agency because our mission is international"

“The African American presence here at CIA is deep and rich. And I would encourage anyone and everyone to know something about that history and the value we have brought to this agency over the past 70+ years.”
