Calling intersectional Kendi-DiAngeloism "Critical Race Theory" was always going to fall prey to the selective pedantry of the left professoriat
It had to become much coarser, stupider, and more propagandistic to arrive at this point where this is being taught to STEM teachers...
But really all the fundamental errors in reasoning and proportionality were present in those articles appearing in Harvard Law Review in 1983
People who talk like this in 2021, speaking a jargon existing in a self-enclosed system of reference immune to correction or criticism, are the weaponized superbug version of the core CRT claims
But this resulting product has gone through decades of being fashioned into a blunt instrument of coercion, in chat rooms, tumblr posts, academic echo chambers, flame wars, campus and workplace meltdowns
We need a new term to describe this vision of the world as a matrix of interlocking oppression. P
People who want to analyze this sociological phenomenon without taking on the baggage of terms like "Cultural Marxism" are turning to a useful neologism: hedgehogreview.com/blog/thr/posts…
The original stuff was more sophisticated than the inane crap being taught in diversity seminars throughout corporate America. But that's really not saying much!
But it's why one should avoid calling the crap "CRT"
You want to avoid sounding Glenn Beck-ish or Trump Jr.-ish (or like lefties ascribing the war in Iraq to Leo Strauss) and recognize that the reason-resistant superbug that took over institutional America in 2020 is an 8th generation mutated variant
What makes the ideological succession distinctive is the belief that the different matrices of oppression are unitary and must be resisted all at once -- abolish prisons, police, standardized testing, the gender binary, whiteness, nuclear families, conceived as a single project
abolish morphological preferences, distinctions between health and unhealth, abolish merit, abolish non-inclusive sexual preferences, abolish all hierarchies, abolish anthropocentrism, etc.
Everybody knows this is bad, nobody defends this crap. Except, apparently, for the people who run our universities, school boards, foundations, charitable organizations, and tech companies.

88 percent of college students have pretended to hold woke views to succeed socially or academically.
The article looks at the psychic injuries inflicted on a generation of students by this mandated fakery.
Don't forget about the ethical dimension. The mindless loyalty tests pervasive on college campuses have crippled the moral and intellectual integrity of a generation of future leaders.
The woman who killed his wife and two children is a man. He is a man who began claiming to be a woman after his arrest for killing his wife and two young children. The Canadian media called him a woman in accordance with their style guidelines that dictate that a "woman is anyone says they are a woman."
They can't say it's BS for the male murderers and rapists because the basis of their claim to be women is the exact same basis for the claim to be a women as every other "trans women": all are men who say they are women
You have 30 other men that you can summon to gang rape a 12-year old on speed dial and trust none to rat you out or try to dissuade you rather than jump to take part because they are all your cousins, brothers, uncles, and nephews
There is no daylight between 1.) what a genocidal fascist would invent about what this immigrant community of Brown foreigners invited in the millions to the UK is capable of doing and 2.) a neutral description of what this immigrant community invited in the millions to the UK actually did.
What now?
The answer of the British state is to place its own citizenry that had this community inflicted on them without their consent or input under surveillance and jail them for wrongthink.
Vance is the figure that many people said would necessarily emerge from the browning of America and the concomitant end of the white majority -- the first national political figure to go through the gauntlet of elite socialization, marry a fellow legal elite of Indian ancestry, emerge into the world of the Great Awokening at its height and seek to find a way to take the side of Anglo-America in a palatable but unapologetic way, shrugging off all the epithets that would be applied to such an attempt. Can this be done? Is there in fact an Anglo-American subject that can speak?
"Those of us with ancestors buried in Civil War gravesites" names a faction of country (many of whom, of course, were non-Anglo immigrants sent here by the Irish potato famines and the revolutions of 1848) who underwent an American ethnogenesis and brought the new nation to the summit of global power. What are this faction's interests? Does it have any? Or must its fate simply be to defer and acquiesce to economic and demographic processes and imperatives that it itself unleashed that are now beyond its control? Is any assertion of such interests inherently illegitimate, charged with peril, a slippery slope to death camps? Or does this core have a historical role to play in the continued shaping of the country its ancestors founded?
Vance's career will be an answer to these questions.
The point here is that left-wing adversaries who hear a dogwhistle in his references to ancestors buried in American soil are right and wrong. He's not dogwhistling, he's making an essentially overt case that the founders of this country have a distinctive claim on this country that they have been and are willing to share with others but under terms and conditions that they will at minimum have a key role in defining. x.com/LongRiverRuns/…
That is to say, he is seeking to bring about a world in which one no longer must dogwhistle about such matters, because the prior settlement ("Boomerism") that a policy of blanket deference on these matters was the only conceivable no longer works under conditions of simultaneous mass immigration and Great Awokening.
It's really not complicated. The New Left/Fanonist vision of the world is that Nazi Germany was a pale and failed much belated shadow of what Anglo colonists succeeded in doing in the New World, building an empire founded on genocide and slavery buttressed by a disgustingly hypocritical gloss of verbiage about liberty and justice enacted by racist white supremacist murderers and enslavers. It's not some abstruse and complicated intellectual construct, it's the articulation of the perspective of those on the receiving end of imperial expansion.
It's the foundational worldview of that political faction and while it was utterly defeated politically in the 1970'd and 1980's, it succeeded totally in leveraging the foothold it had in academia to capture K-12 education and the rest of the machinery of socialization. And now its on the cusp of direct political power in the global capitol of capital.
Why is Zohran Mamdani giving the finger to the man who discovered the New World? He sees himself as living in the Thousand Year Reich looking at a statue of Heinrich Himmler.
I should clarify that the perspective of those on the receiving end of imperial expansion refers to those who retain anti-imperial pride and resistance -- invariably a faction of native elites and those they inculcate into sharing that pride. The mass of the peasantry and the coopted elite class sees little distinction between old and the new masters, and may well prefer the new masters, especially if they build dams, hospitals, roads railways, and schools, and seek the eradication of backward and depraved customs while proselytizing on behalf of an egalitarian and forgiving God who offers a pathway of salvation to any and all.
The media is pivoting from “it’s not happening” with regard to dosing 11 year old girls with testosterone and cutting off their healthy breasts at 12 so they can be “nonbinary” to doing sympathetic, soft focus profiles of the mother who approved of it in only her words — normalizing a destructive mania and vilifying those who resist it
They use of the “as told to” format is a striking choice
