Supreme Court bench, headed by Justice DY Chandrachud, in its order, constituted a National Task Force (NTF) to assess, recommend the need and distribution of oxygen for the entire country.
The Supreme Court in its order said that the National Task Force members will be (1) Dr Bhabatosh Biswas, Former Vice-Chancellor, West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Kolkata, (2) Dr Devender Singh Rana, Chairperson, Board of Management, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi.

IAF has deployed 42 transport aircraft for COVID relief tasks including 12 heavy lift &30 medium lift aircraft. They're used to bring in relief measures, personnel& material from abroad. So far we've lifted about 75 oxygen containers & it’s in progress: M Ranade, Air Vice Marshal
As of now, 98% air personnel had first shot & close to 90% have had second shot. We're rapidly moving towards 100% vaccination. It had two-fold effect on them- first is the physical which means they are better prepared, second is psychological: Air Vice Marshal Makarand Ranade

DCGI has granted permission for emergency use of therapeutic application of drug 2-deoxy-D-glucose (2-DG) as adjunct therapy in moderate to severe COVID-19 patients. Being a generic molecule & analogue of glucose, it can be easily produced & made available in plenty: DRDO
The drug has been developed by DRDO lab Institute of Nuclear Medicine & Allied Sciences in collaboration with Dr Reddy’s Laboratories. Clinical trial have shown that this molecule helps in faster recovery of hospitalized patients & reduces supplemental oxygen dependence: DRDO
Higher proportion of patients treated with 2-DG showed RT-PCR negative conversion in COVID patients. In efficacy trends, the patients treated with 2-DG showed faster symptomatic cure than Standard of Care (SoC) on various endpoints: DRDO

If we get adequate vaccine doses, we can complete vaccination within 3 months. There're 1.5 crore people above 18 years of age in Delhi so we need 3 crore doses. Out of this, Delhi Govt has got only 40 lakh doses so far. We need 2.6 crores more doses: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal
If Delhi government is given 80-85 lakh doses of COVID-19 vaccine per month, we can complete vaccination within three months: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal
To complete vaccination within 3 months, we need to vaccinate 3 lakh people every day. Currently, we are inoculating 1 lakh people in a day. I request Central government to ensure adequate availability of vaccines to Delhi: CM Arvind Kejriwal
