This is the uncompleted Krofrom Market, located in the heart of Kumasi. Started by Former President H.E John Agyekum Kuffuor.
After he left power, NDC came to power and did not even touch it because it was not an NDC government who started it....
Fast forward, NPP government led by Nana Akuffo Addo has come to power, we were hopeful that even if he doesn’t cut sod in Ashanti in his tenure and he’s able to complete all the abandoned projects in the region (even if not all, “Most”) it will be largely appreciated because....
these abandoned projects will go a long way help our market men and women in the region. It will reduce the constant chocking of our highways by these our mothers and fathers who come to sell their goods by the roadside.
However, NPP government led by Nana Akuffo Addo has already spent almost five years in power but has refused to complete this market project, their own market project, a project that was started by “his very own” predecessor, John Agyekum Kuffuor.
Your “World bank”, this is the region that gave you over 1.6 million votes in 2016 elections, this is the same region that saved you from loosing in 2020 elections by giving you over 1.7 million votes. When you lost Greater Accra Region to NDC after siting all your projects there
NPP, the kind of NPP you saw in the region in 2016 and 2020 is not the same NPP you will meet in 2024. You will come and meet a discerning voters in the region in 2024 and how will you answer to them? Will you still blame John Mahama in 2024 to us?
Remember and I’m stating it without equivocation, you WILL NEVER, you CAN NEVER and you SHALL NEVER win 2024 election and any other election ahead without Ashanti Region. We can make and unmake you. We can enstool and same time destool you....
NPP is just like an egg in the eyes of Ashanti and Ahafo regions, very tiny and soft, you drop it, it brokes, and not even the 14 other regions combined can mend it. A word to a wise............?
This is the current state of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Teaching Hospital started by Former President John Agyekum Kuffuor to serve as the main hospital to the university,...... thread
also as a referral hospital and to also serve as academic and medical research Center for the university. An 800 bed capacity hospital.....
When J. A Kuffuor left office, President Mills administration never touched it because it was not an NDC government who started it.
Instead he went and cut sod for a Medical Center at the University of Ghana, Legon. Fair enough because as the Nation’s premier university, they needed such a medical facility enhance their health, academic and research purposes.

The Pillar Behind the Africa Home Coming.
THE YEAR OF RETURN 2019-GHANA
Many hundred years ago, there was in Africa enslavement of people onto other parts of the world. The great ancestors of Africa descents who became victims of the then inhuman atrocities
have lived on physically and spiritual till today at all the places they were brought. Most of them decided not to forget their roots and worked strenuously toward their repatriation back to AFRICA.
There are great men whose names were made mentioned towards fighting for exploitations, freedom, and justice during the enslavement . The slavery caused a lot of divisions among the Black People home and abroad and till today there are sometimes misunderstandings and blame games.
NANA YAA ASANTEWAA (1840-1921), THE WOMAN WHO FOUGHT MEN IN FRONT OF CANNONS. AFRICA’S GREATEST QUEEN OF ALL TIME. (Onyankonsroma aseni).
A paraphrase conversation when the British Governor, Sir Frederic Hodgson visited Kumasi.
A thread!
Governor: If you Asantes, gave the Golden Stool to Nana Prempeh to sit on, why don’t you bring it to me to sit on? Though the government has not received the Golden Stool, I will rule the nation with all power and strictness at my disposal.
(Nana Yaa Asantewaa after waiting for the men to speak and seeing that nobody is willing to ask a question, stood up to ask a question).
Nana Yaa Asantewaa: Did you see Nana Prempeh when you were coming to Kumasi?
Governor: Nana Prempeh has been deported to Seychelles Island.
Hello Abusuafoɔ!
As we are all aware that March is Ghana 🇬🇭 Month. A month of celebration of our country for the attainment of statehood.
This month of March in 2021 is also Asante History Month. All you need to know about Asante and Asanteman:
origins, diplomatic relations of the various Asantehene, entrepreneurship and commerce of old, now and the future, music, folklore, poetry, entertainment etc....
Starting from tomorrow, we are dedicating this month to talk about Three Great Asante Women....
whose achievements have earned them a place in the history of the world. Nana Yaa Asantewaa, Queen Nanny and Queen Abla Pokou.
Nana Yaa Asantewaa, the woman who led the men of Asante to fight and defended the Golden Stool of the Asantes in a war named as “Yaa Asantewaa war”
Today is Akwasidae, enti mema mo nyinaa Adae Tokyi oo? Adae nto yie!!!
As today is Akwasidae, let us use this opportunity to educate ourselves about who Asantes really are?
A long thread!!!
The youth of today and the younger generation coming up have been made to believe that when we talk about Asantes, they are one of the tribes of the Akan Ethnic Group, they are the only people occupying the Ashanti Region and Ahafo Region,
Asantes are the only people who speak Asante and any other group who speak other languages apart from Asante Twi is not an Asante.
This is what some text books produced by the Ghana Education Service and some other publishing companies have sought to portray in....
HOW MANY TIMES DOES AN ASANTEHENE WEAR THE BULLETPROOF WAR JACKET (Batakarikeseɛ) IN HIS LIFETIME?
Batakari kesee was consecrated by the Prophet Komfo Anokye to Otumfuo Opoku Ware l, because of how the demise of his bosom friend Asantehene Osei Tutu l happened.
Asantehene Opoku Ware was the first Asantehene to wear Batakari kesee.
Many are those that believe that every Asantehene wears the bulletproof war jacket (Batakarikeseɛ) twice in his lifetime . But that is not the case and cannot be the case.
1. An Asantehene wears the Batakarikeseɛ during his enstoolment as Asantehene. 2. During the funeral of his predecessor. 3. During the funeral of an Asantehemaa. 4. Should more than one Asantehemaa die in office during his time as Asantehene,
