Religiously, you are supposed to do the acts of charity on Akshay Tritiya, for any good deed done will result in multi fold punya. Akshaya means unlimited. So, any punya karma you do will give you unlimited punya, Image

According to scriptures, there are a few good deeds prescribed for Akshaya Tritiya.
