1. The timing of this latest terror wave in Israel initiated by PA Chairman Abbas is not at all surprising. After canceling the Palestinian elections because his Fatah party faced certain defeat, Abbas was at his lowest popularity ever with no legitimacy to continue ruling...
2. Abbas was desperate to redirect Palestinian wrath away from himself and toward Israel. Accordingly, as he did in the past in 2014 and 2015, Abbas artificially created a crisis over Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
3. Meanwhile, not to be outdone as the 'defenders of Jerusalem', Hamas was left with no choice but to compete with Fatah by attacking Israel with a barrage of rockets - which has gone unreported by the PA's media outlets.
4. The PA’s censoring all news about Hamas’ attacks in Israel is further proof that this entire battle is about Abbas and Hamas trying to convince Palestinians that they are the leaders in the terror war against Israel.
5. It is clear is that both Abbas and Hamas are competing over murdering Jews in order to shine politically.
